The wife of Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has moved to court seeking to block the Senator from evicting her from their matrimonial home. Agnes Kavindu submitted in the papers filed in court that the Senator had made made several attempts in the recent past to evict her from the home despite a court order barring him.

Kavindu through lawyer Judith Thongori added that electricity and water in the home had been disconnected and prayed to the court that the Senator be compelled to restore the basic facilities. Kavindu submitted that a security guard at the home on instructions of the Senator had locked her out which led to her being robbed of her bag containing her valuables and went ahead to explain how Muthama had ordered that bees be introduced in the house to force her out.
