Irate residents of Kapsaos village in Uasin Gishu County caned a headteacher in public glare for allegedly defiling three girls from his school.

Willy Kiprop, the headmaster of Cheptebo Primary School, was paraded in public and given a thorough beating for violating the pupils he's supposed to take care of.

According to reports, he enticed the girls who are aged between 12 and 16 using 'goodies' before defiling them.

Kiprop would then warn them about uttering a word about his actions in school or else they face his wrath.

However, his proverbial forty days came to an abrupt end when the children informed their parents about his deeds.

When pressed to explain why he was engaging in sexual acts with minors, the headteacher claimed he was possessed.

"Ni kuchemka kwa damu na pia labda ni kuingiliwa na shetani kwa sababu shetani huwezi jua vile inaingilia mtu," he said.

He was later handed over to the police who promised to get to the bottom of the matter.
