In an interview with a local daily, Mwangi - who doubles up as an activist - revealed that he was expelled from high school more than 18 years ago while in Form One.

After his expulsion, he decided to quit school. However, he had a change of heart this year and enrolled himself as a private candidate at Visionary Tuition Center in South B.

Mwangi sat for his KCSE exams at the institution and he had earlier expressed fear that he may not pass as well as he expected.

When the Cabinet Secretary (CS) Education Fred Matiangi released the results on Thursday, December 28 many were quick to inquire what he scored but Mwangi remained coy.

Instead, he sent out tweets reminiscing his old school days.
