Radio Africa Group sponsored the Kenya Worldwide Fashion Week that went down last weekend at the Royal Orchid in Westlands. The event was graced by amazing designers from all over the world.

My favorite designer of the night was Laquan Smith from New York. He was represented by the Vice President of the high fashion brand, Jaqueline Cooper. The brand has dressed top notch public figures in the entertainment and modeling world. Think of Kanye West, Beyonce, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner among others.

She said that she was truly loving Kenya despite having had a long flight a day earlier. The two-day event was attended by top media personalities from Radio Africa's East FM, Citizen TV, Africa 24 Media, Fashion 1 TV among others. Designers representing Africa came from Uganda, Nigeria and Kenya. Kogo Wear from Kenya stole the show with their trendy, urban designs!

Apart from the scrumptious dinner, there was ample time to socialize and make connections with people from the global fashion industry. Here's how the event went down (in pictures):
