Sarah Wairimu Cohen maintains that her husband was violent and abusive.

The Kenyan woman, who got married to Cohen in 2017 has been sharing mind-blowing details about her troubled marriage to the dutch tycoon.

In a series of articles she published on her blog, she said Cohen had a mental issue.

His mental state has always been an issue, and his family is well too aware of this. Despite recent media appearances by his sister Gabrie, where she has been saying that there was nothing wrong with her brother and that she suspects I am complicit in the death of her brother (seen in this video), my conversations with them shall prove otherwise. In the screenshots below, my conversations with both Gabrie and their other brother, Bernard, show that I have been talking about Tob’s mental health issues for a while. Unfortunately, they were both unwilling to be of much assistance. However, I do not necessarily hold this against them, given how difficult Tob has been even to his family over the years. What I am not happy about is the lie by Gabrie that I somehow have been a burden to them, and not the other way round.

Sarah Wairimu went ahead to say that her late husband was involved in disciplinary cases with two local hotels and was barred from their premises for some months.

Tob has always had issues of aggression, abusive language and drug & alcohol abuse. My personal experience with the man has shown me that Tob is a perfect candidate for depression, bi-polar disorder, or some mild form of schizophrenia,' she added.

She continued.

I have always maintained over the years that Tob needs some form of help from a mental health professional. I expressed this clearly to him and his family many times, but he dismissed it, and no one took notice. This was until 20 July 2019. On this day, he finally admitted that he was ready to get help, and that he was tired of all the drama that has been happening in his life. When he left the house, he promised he’d get help. That was the last time I spoke with him. I hope that wherever he is, he’s getting the help he needs.

Cohen's family have also commented on their brother's bad marriage and they said they still couldn't believe that Sarah could be unkind to her husband.

The tycoon's sister Gabrielle van Straten said,

Sarah was one charming and entertaining and person.

Roy, Cohen's brother-in-law, while speaking in an interview with Citizen TV said,

She was a nice-looking woman, well educated and very well-spoken. Her culture was different from ours but we respected that. I cannot say anything negative about her, absolutely no.
