It seems that drama from politicians and especially MCAs having affairs in not going to end anytime soon, as a Kiambu MCA has now gotten himself into an ugly love triangle.

Apparently, Gatongora MCA George Gitau was caught with another man's wife and although he has denied the allegations, he will be charged with assault today, Tuesday 27.

The MCA together with the lady involved, Mercy Mwende, were arrested and detained at Ruiru police station, following a complaint by a man claiming to be her husband.

The man, Victor Kimeu, a chicken seller, said he arrived at Mwende's home in Kihunguro, Ruiru, on Saturday 24, evening, but got no response despite knocking severally.

On hearing commotion inside the house, Kimeu got another padlock and locked the door from outside then sought help from neighbours.

This is what Kimeu told The Star:

When I got back, I opened the door as I waited for help. The two opened and then bundled me into the man's car and drove towards Kiambu road.

They allegedly assaulted Kimeu before he managed to escape from the car, though they both deny it. Mercy Mwende claims that the assaulted man is not her husband nor her boyfriend.

The two will appear before a Thika court to answer to charges of abduction and assault. Read the whole story on.
