2016 is definitely going to be a great year for all men who have internet connection and a few ladies on their phonebooks, as American worldwide provider of on-demand Internet streaming media Netflix is officially made available in Kenya.

Well, some people had already subscribed to this service but illegally, using virtual private networks. There is good news! Now you can stream all your favorite movies and shows legally and enjoy them peacefully.

Kenya is one of the countries where Netflix is now available and can be accessed monthly starting from as low as 816.57 Kenyan Shilling.

Speaking at the CES 2016, The Chief Content Office at Netflix, Ted Sarandos, announced that the company’s goal is to go global with the intention of localization of some shows.

According to Sarandos, some of the shows are not engineered to be global but organically become global like House of Cards and Suits, which further amplifies the need for a global television platform.
