Celebrated Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol have said that they did not have enough finances to keep their promise of releasing new music videos songs every month this year.

Bien said during a press briefing:

We took a break because we realized we did not have the required financial muscle to keep up with the releases and push the project to a global scale

We have, however, signed deals with international record labels and from next year we will be back on track," he said adding that even the Kenyan government does not keep all its promises to it's people.

In November last year, Sauti Sol assured their loyal fans that they were in for a bumper musical year and at the beginning of the year, they stayed true to their word after releasing collabos with Patoranking, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy and Khaligraph Jones.

However, they slowed down mid-way and haven’t released anything since their most politically conscious track ‘Tujiangalie‘ that featured Nyashinki in August.

In an interview with Kiss Fm, in January, band member Savara said;
