Saumu Mbuvi reacts after her dad, Mike Sonko is arrested in Voi

Saumu Mbuvi, daughter to Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has reacted after her dad was arrested in connection to corruption and money laundering charges.

Sonko was arrested after the DPP, Noordin Harji said they have enough evidence to prosecute him.

He was arrested in Voi.

Saumu took to her social media to share a photo of herself and her dad taking a selfie followed by a caption of prayer emoji's.

Kenyans have reacted to the news of Sonko's arrest and below are some of their reactions.

Cityinthesun: Sonko deliberately refused to appoint a deputy governor thinking that would shiled him from arrest, because Nairobi would be left without a boss.

He forgot one thing, DPP Noordin Haji can't be blackmailed, does not play games and refuses to take hostages. See your life now Sonko!
