Saumu Mbuvi has been on a high this past week. That is if you analyse the information that she has been posting on her social media. The mother of one recently spoke with near certainty about the relationship that she was involved in.
She had written:
“MY CURRENT RELATIONSHIP IS EITHER GONNA LEAD TO A WEDDING OR FUNERAL. LADIES YOU CHOOSE ALL BLACK OR ALL WHITE.”
While the statement might be taken in a variety of ways, one sees that the socialite is in love with her current beau. But it seems this declaration has gotten some people hot under the collar.
Yesterday, Saumu was live-streaming on Instagram when a troll decided to engage her on the issue of husband-snatching.
The Instagram user called Olowoshibi1 accused Saumu of husband snatching:
God is watching you.God will never bless you for snatching another woman’s husband.
Saumu like her combative father, the governor responded with fury telling the user to bounce.
Take your fake ass from my page. I know who you are commenting with fake accounts. I don’t take negativity from anyone.
But Olowoshibi1 insisted that they were speaking facts alone:
No negativity but facts only.
Saumu replied by saying;
This man had a life before me, what matters is the life we have now. He was dating someone before he met me and that is very normal.
Before dating her current man Saumu was dating Ben Gatu with whom they share a young girl. In the live-stream she explains that even Ben was taken by another woman.
The accusation of husband-snatching is no new thing in Kenya. Two years ago, former Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua’s wife, Lilian Ng’ang’a was accused of being a husband snatcher.
In the tweef, Ng’ang’a who was advocating for the development of women was attacked and accused of being a hypocrite. But Lilian refused to take the bait and told the user to focus on ideas to empower women.
