Sarah Wairimu Cohen, estranged wife of Tob Cohen has written to Chiromo Mortuary opposing the release of the body to Gabrielle, sister of the deceased, for burial.

Speaking outside the Chiromo mortuary where the postmortem was being conducted, Philip Murgor revealed that his client has demanded that after the exercise, the body of the late Cohen not be released to anyone else.

“The notion that the sister is entitled to the body is alien in the Kenyan Law…..

Sarah is innocent under the Kenyan Constitution and nothing has happened so far to take away her right to her husband’s body,” Murgor said.
