It would seem the circus of the bizzarre being run by FKF President Sam Nyamweya is not going to end any time soon. This "educated guess" comes just hours after he threatened former Gor Mahia player Innocent Mutiso for speaking up against his administration.

Sam Nyamweya was recorded allegedly threatening to end a Harambee Stars player's career over "sports politics". He allegedly made the threats via phone call on Thursday to winger Innocent Mutiso.

"Wachana na siasa ya mpira kabisa, wewe. Kuwa professional. I will suspend you na utakwisha milele," he allegedly says in the recording.

Mutiso is further threatened for endorsing a competitor in the federation's upcoming elections.

"You are supposed to be neutral in these matters. Who are you endorsing?" he is told.

Mutiso, who is a former Gor Mahia winger, is reportedly also threatened for condemning the treatment of players ahead of their return match against Cape Verde's Blue Sharks. The players were stranded at Nairobi's Wilson Airport for hours following a mix-up over their chartered plane, which had allegedly not been paid for hours to the match.

“We do not recognise your organisation and I have even written to have it abolished,” he was also told in the recording.
