The singer who featured in a few of Khaligraph Jones songs, died yesterday after a short illness.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing away of one of Kenya’s greatest and promising talent Eliud Sagini better known to many as Sagini. New footage that has appeared on the internet shows the singer in what is most likely his last performance on stage.

The "Mat za Ronga" singer is seen giving probably his last interview on KTN T.V show Straight Up. What many did not know is that he would be dead a few days later.

The host is heard asking the visibly sweating and struggling singer that he has a fever. She says while speaking about Sagini:

That is him with a temperature.

The host even offers to help him with some cold juice. Sagini confidently responds:

Nangangana tu wache tuseme hivo. Lakini nitakuwa fiti.

And why had he turned up to do the interview even when he felt and looked so sick?

My love and passion for music and for my fans also.

The interviewer is so troubled by how sickly he looks that she even offers to end the interview early but the headstrong singer refuses and decides to go on. Sadly despite his never say never attitude he would tragically die yesterday.

Life.
