Retired President Moi's body was this morning airlifted to Kabarak in a military aircraft.

Moi is set to be buried in Nakuru county.

The casket draped in the flag left Lee Funeral Home at 7:00 am for Wilson airport under heavy security.

Tens of people are streaming into the compound where the ceremony will take place. Security is tight with more officers being deployed there to man the activities there.

President Kenyatta is expected to attend the event today.
