Legendary Tanzanian crooner Lucas Mkenda, popularly known as Mr. Nice has been admitted at the Kahama Hospital in Shinyanga after he became seriously ill according to his close friend.

The Takeu style singer went professional in 1999, and was at some point reported to be the highest paid entertainer in East Africa, charging over Ksh 400,000 for a show.

His career took a complete turn when it was alleged that he had became a waster and an alcoholic.

His close friend is now asking his fans and friends to pray and visit the 'Kidali Po' singer.
