Death has struck the family of Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali. The legislator is mourning the passing on of his son Chris Masaka.

Masaka, a US Marine, died in Arizona State on Friday 26, where he was on holiday with family.

According to reports, the 35-year-old drowned while trying to save a child from a swimming pool.

The family is still in shock and Robert Ayisi, the MP's eldest son told NTV,

We received the news about his death from a relative who works with him in the Navy.

Masaka lived in Illinois and has left behind an n expectant wife and two children.
