It's a dark day for Facebook users worldwide as Pastor Eric Omba quits the leading online social networking service. 

The man who separated with Gospel singer Gloria Muliro after allegations that he was cheating announced yesterday that he will be deleting all his social media accounts for up to 3 years.

SAD NEWS ....and GOOD NEWS TO SOME.

By tomorrow, I will be deleting all my Facebook accounts Mean My Page and group .I will be offline for 3 years. Will miss you guys.

It's still not clear why the pastor decided to abandon his Facebook people for three years, but by the time this article went up (4:36PM), Pastor Omba's account was still active. Maybe he changed his mind?
