Last week there was a terrible accident that occurred on the busy Thika Super Highway at a known black spot called Gwa-Kairo near Kenyatta Ruiru campus. The accident left a young college man, Dominic Macharia decapitated. Macharia, who had a passion for drawing, was knocked down by a car while he was trying to cross the busy highway. He had gone to visit a friend at the university.

Before his death, Macharia had worked on a portrait of two famous Kenyan musicians Jaguar and King Kaka Rabbit. His mother wants to meet them (the two musicians) so as to hand the drawings over to them.

“My son was so much inspired by the two through their music and he kept drawing their images and storing them. I think it would be good if the two would get to see them,”

She told NairobiNews.
