Many students will go to every length to pass their exams. However, the government, through the Ministry of Education, has put strict measures to ensure that cases of candidates resorting to cheating in the exams are stopped.

Now, an unfortunate incident has been reported at one the thousands of KCSE exam centres, after a student allegedly took a poisonous pill meant to "boost" his thinking capacity.

So there are pills that boost thinking?? I didn't know.

It has been reported that the affected student took the pill alongside a few others at Kiranga Secondary School in Kandara, Murang'a County.

According to the school's deputy principal Jonathan Kibe, the candidates swallowed the pill called Heridol, in hopes that it would "enhance their mind capacity", but only one student out of the participating group got affected.

"The student named got unconscious and has been rushed to Kandara subcounty hospital for treatment and he is due to take his examination at the same facility," read a police report.
