The members of the same family lost their lives on Friday, December 2 after a matatu and an Easy coach bus rammed into each other along the Bomet-Kisii highway.

According to reports, the family members were on their way to attend their kin's graduation at Maasai Mara University in Narok when they met their deaths.

The incident was confirmed by Bomet County Commandant Leah Kithel who told journalists that the Kisii-bound bus and the matatu collided at around 3 am.

Those who sustained injures were rushed to Kaplong Mission Hospital and Kapkatet County Hospital where they are receiving treatment.
