SAD! Family Of Kenyan Designer Who Was Shot In US Dead Pleads For 2.5M For Burial

Family and friends to Mike Mulwa, the founder of the 254 clothing line are still yet to see their fallen son after he was gunned down during a robbery at a gas station he owned in Birmigham, Alabama.

The late was living in Atlanta, Georgia but worked at a gas station in Alabama. According to reports Ksh 2.5 million is needed to airlift his body to Kenya and give him a descent send-off.

Before he was shot on Saturday, he had undergone several robbery attacks and was said to also have been robbed on the previous Friday. Talking to his friends on his Facebook before his demise, Mike said that he had warned the owner to put bullet proofs or else walk away from the business.

After he was shot, Mulwa called for a friend's help as the police came in after approximately 12 minutes later.

Meetings to raise the money are being held both in the US and in Kenya.

Mulwa leaves behind his pregnant wife and two other children. He passed on at the age of 29.
