Actress Brenda Wairimu is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in the country, who has been in many TV shows including the popular MTV drama series, Shuga.

The gorgeous actress had taken off some time from the industry to be a mother to her daughter with rapper Juliani and despite rumours that they had broken up, Brenda has managed to do well and has been looking fabulous.

Well, in sad news, Brenda Wairimu has taken to her social media to reveal something very sad and I must say very sudden too.

The cute lass unfortunately, lost her mother on Sunday, November 15 though she did not state what lead to her death, which is very heart-wrenching for her.

The actress/model lost her dad back in October 2012, due to Kidney failure, which was very heart-breaking and now I can't even imagine how hard this is for her loose the only parent she had.

She posted the sorrowful news with an old, black and white photo of her mother, back in the day when she rocked an afro and a crop top and loose pants.

Brenda also shared more details of a one-off fundraiser for family and friends, which will be at Mbaraki sports club on Wednesday, Nov 18th from 4 PM, where the mother will be laid to rest later this week.

We accept humbly that truly our MUM(middle in photo) has gone to be with the Lord. This is her in her hay days, gorgeous isn't she...

She left us on Sunday morning, and for most all of us, it still seems like a dream.

A one-offf undraiser for family and friends will be at Mbaraki sports club Wednesday 18th Nov from 4pm, laid to rest later this week. Thank you to all who have shown us love and strength through this whole time.  Love you Mum.
