Word went round that rapper Wangechi was involved in an accident and the internets went crazy. Why? Becuase Wangechi is the darling of the new class of rappers cropping up. She is beautiful and she is talented. She is a fresh breathe of air from most of the female artists Kenya boasts who have always wanted to cut the "damsel in distress" image.

Anyway, Wangechi was in a car -a Mark X- that was totaled in an accident with three other occupants, one, Tionna, is deceased. The other, Tewa is in critical condition in the I.C.U and all prayers are to the family and friends of the deceased and those fighting for their lives.

But word went round that Wangechi had succumbed to her injuries. Nay. That is false. The rumour started because of mistaken identity. Word has it that Tionna is also called Wangechi and that brought about confusion.
