The latest Star Wars installation, Rogue One, a highly anticipated film is in the headlines after making over 200M dollars in a record six days. This puts the film in an exclusive category alongside other groundbreaking films which previously performed so well.

Now standing at 290.5M dollars at The Box Office, Rogue One joins the likes of Batman v Superman, Iron Man 3, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and The Dark Knight Rises.

The movie is set out of the usual Star Wars episode style theme but that’s not prevented it from having major success.

The film is about former scientist Galen Erso who lives on a farm with his wife and young daughter Jyn. His peaceful existence comes crashing down when the evil Orson Krennic takes him away from his beloved family.

Many years later, Galen is now the Empire's lead engineer for the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, the Death Star. Knowing that her father holds the key to its destruction, a vengeful Jyn joins forces with a spy and other resistance fighters to steal the space station's plans for the Rebel Alliance.
