The Jameson Live Party last year after months of waiting and lots of disappointments along the way. This time though, the hiphop artiste has turned to politics.

In a statement to Buzzfeed, the rapper said that:

“I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.”

If he qualifies, he'll have to fight against Jack P. Longino, who is a third generation mayor of the town. The latter noted that he didn't know who 2 Chainz was before the news of the rapper's intent came out. He however said that if the “Feds Watching” rapper has to live in College Park. He currently lives in Palmetto, Georgia.
