I remember once hearing my deskmate in highschool say these exact words some 11yrs ago while I was in form three at Jamhuri High when we heard rumours yet another schoolmate had died in a hail of bullets.

Earlier today some gunmen met their untimely (I have to say that although I am glad the law caught up with them) demise and it was pandemonium. The men were gunned down in the greater Parklands area.

Police shot and killed three suspected thugs  in a botched robbery in Parklands area, Nairobi.

The gang was driving away on First Avenue near Avenue Hospital, in a Voxy van they had stolen.

Police found a pistol with eight bullets and ID cards.

They said the suspects were on a mission to commit another robbery.
