Nigerian singer and actor Rotimi Akinosho, who stars for Power as Andre 'Dre' Coleman is dead. Dre, whose character in the Starz drama series has always left many hating on him has come to an end.

In Sunday's episode, Dre agrees to relocate to Las Vegas with Tina [his girlfriend and mother of his young daughter (Heaven)]. But first, he explains he has some unfinished business to take care of.

Upon arriving to do the job (unfinished business), he hears a shot and before he takes off, Blanca (an NYPD detective who was looking into Ghost and Angela) arrests him and he's taken to jail. While in jail, Dre is greeted by 2-Bit and Spanky.

Spanky fills Dre's cell with gasoline-soaked towels and later sets the room on fire killing him.

Power is said to be ending in season 6.

Social media reacted to the news that Dre was no more and in a post, he shared on Instagram, the actor called his character the most hated TV villain of our times.
