The media fraternity is mourning the loss of one of their own.

George Kori's body was on Sunday found dangling from a tree at Gatura Farm in Elburgon, Nakuru County.

The  K24 journalist was said to be depressed. He had been reported missing for several days before he was found dead.

Hon. Liza Chelule the woman representative of Nakuru County wrote,

"I received sad news about the sudden death of K24 TV cameraman Mr. George Kori with shock. He was based in Molo area. Mr.George Kori was a giant with so much potential in the world of journalism. May his soul rest in peace."

A fellow journalists in the region paid tribute to him as well.

Amo Amoh posted on his Facebook,

"Rip George kori indeed you helped me when I was doing undercover reports, back In Molo, shine your way."

The body was moved to Elburgon Sub-County Hospital Mortuary.

May he rest in peace.
