The interwebs went wild with news of the death of ailing Ohangla star Lady Maureen.

However, it turns out social media updates on the news were all wrong.

Lady Maureen is still alive and well.

The artiste who died is Moureen Nyar Awendo, a dancer of Ohangla singer Freddy Jakadongo.

Taking to his social media, Freddy broke the news on June 21, 2020, saying,

"R.I.P moureen nyar awendo

R.I.P osiepa

R.I.P dancer."

Fans sent in their condolences to Awendo's family and friends.
