Gospel singer Alex Apoko, better known as Ringtone, has come under scathing attack from netizens after releasing a new single dubbed "Nomination".

The song which was released exactly three weeks after the party primaries were concluded is about how Christians rejoice after overcoming the problems they are facing.

However, Ringtone's lack of creativity has not gone unnoticed. Social media users have now labelled him as an opportunist who can't think. PS: Not my words.

Funnily, during the party primaries which ended on May 1, 2017, KOT warned Jimmy Gait, who is known for his funny song titles, against releasing "Mbinguni Hakuna Nomination".

Maybe they had a feeling that would happen because three weeks down the line, Ringtone has released a new song and it's title will shock you (pun intended).

Honestly, at times it's hard to imagine how creative minds like Nyashinki - who debuted his latest single "Malaika" this week - and others like Ringtone can live in the same country.
