NTV's Crossover host Grace Ekirpa has penned an emotional message to her late mother on her birthday.

The gospel presenter lost her mother 19 years ago and has always opened up about the experience of being an orphan.

Today while celebrating her mother's birthday, she wrote,

Happy Birthday Mama. This day continues to remain special in our hearts because Heaven introduced a Gem. A woman who loved unconditionally served with all her heart and brought three incredible women into this world. Your legacy lives on Mama. If you were here, I would have thrown the biggest bash for you because I love you with everything I am. Rest with the angels and Happy Birthday our Guardian Angel.

Last year, Ekirapa shared a touching message, revealing that she left a void no one can fill.

I’ve always known me to be strong but this time I will just swim in my tears because of the void I feel without you around Mama. 18years today and it still feels like yesterday. I refuse to be strong just for today. I miss you soo much.
