Mike Sonko once made a musical video appearance. It all goes back to the year 2012. Singer Jaguar released the music video "Matapeli," which featured several local artistes. They included comedians Njoroge and Otoyo from Papa Shirandula. The song is about corrupt politicians, who beg for power only to rob our country.
In the video, Mike Sonko, who was MP for Makadara had a cameo as a shoe shiner.
He has a hat with faux-locks, Jamaican style. Once he is done giving services to the politician, instead of a thank you moment, the condescendent gentleman knocks off his washing pail.
Jaguar and Mike Sonko have maintained their friendship over the years. Earlier this year, Jaguar was given a government job. He is the director of NACADA.
