Remember the controversial “presidential selfie” taken in Abu Dhabi during the Formula One race? The one posted after the Mandera attack? The one that was circulated in the social media and Kenyans got worked up and bent out of shape over? Kenyans disapproved of the selfie saying, the president should have been in the country commiserating with the families of the victims affected by the Mandera Attack.

It seems the lady featured in the selfie is a powerful individual. During her visit to Kenya's coast, a while back, she was accorded police escort. Well, the lady in question is called Thandie Ojeer, an events organiser who also works with celebrities in branding and PR. Thandie is the director of Footprint International based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Thandie posted a video of the police escorting her to the hotel from the Moi International Airport in Mombasa. Wonder who she knows in gava?
