There's a video that is doing rounds on social media showing a Saudi footballer's hair being cut on the pitch mid-game.

The Saudi Arabian national team's goalkeeper Waleed Abdullah, who also plays for Al Shabaab, was believed to have an 'anti-Islamic' haircut, so he was taken off the pitch for a quick trim before the game ended. Two match officials used scissors to remove his 'un-Islamic' mohawk.

In the video, it appears that the referee was nominated to make the adjustments. He can be seen snipping away at Abdullah’s small mohawk at the front of his head.
