Hundreds of party goers filled up Club Blend in Thika to witness the self-proclaimed King of Rap, Khaligragh Jones and Club Bangers Sailors Gang perform their hit songs “Yes Bana” and “Wamblambez” amongst others lined up songs on the night. Sailors gang took the stage early on bringing the packed club to their feet with each hit song better the previous one.

This the paved the way for the real ‘OG’ “Papa Jones” Baba Yao” to get on stage to a rousing applause and cheering. The recent winner of the Best Rapper Award in Nigeria did not disappoint with an electric performance playing hit after hit for over an hour and a half non-stop. Amongst the most popular hits he presented were Mazishi, Omolo, Wanjiru na Akinyi, Sondeka, Kasabuny and Rewind a collabo featuring Sauti Sol.

The DJ line-up also spiced up the night. The energized crowd couldn’t stop dancing to the good mixes. The mix of the styles was clear to see with a stand out set by DJ Niche leaving the crowd baying for more.
