Next year's general election has attracted many. From preachers to artistes to even journalists, no one wants to be left behind. Everyone wants to at least dine with the president and warm the parliamentary seat. Controversial pastor Dr Victor Kanyari of Salvation Healing Ministries is the latest man of God to join politics after Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus Is Alive Ministries declared her interest in the Nairobi's gubernatorial seat.

Speaking during a recent media interview, Kanyari revealed that he is contesting for the Embakasi East parliamentary seat on a Jubilee party which has attracted many including controversial student leader Paul Ongili popularly known as Babu Owino.

"I am contemplating vying for a parliamentary seat in Embakasi East next year. I Have already started my campaigns,"

Said Kanyari. The controversial pastor is convinced that him being popular 'of course because of the wrong reasons' he will beat his competitors, the likes of Babu Owino come next year August.

"I will be vying for Embakasi East Parliamentary Seat in 2017." Infact, I have become very famous after being exposed as a con-pastor. This is a sure win. I have many followers,"

Bragged Kanyari. The son of popular televangelist prophetess Lucy Nduta has never let people's opinions deter him from spreading the gospel and this can be witnessed by a series of crusades he has been holding in Nairobi county and its environs. The self-proclaimed prophet was exposed back in 2014 by Mohammed Ali of Jicho Pevu as a rogue pastor and since then, seems to have gained popularity and till now, thousands still throng his church.

All the best Kanyari. Tupatane kwa debe.
