2015 has been Wangechi's year. She was part of Coke Studio Africa, the biggest TV show of the year. It was a life-changing moment for her as she got to work closely with the best of the best in the African music scene.

The gorgeous rapper gave me an exclusive interview about her experience on the show. She was upbeat and excited about what she's working on right now - new music that will be taking over Kenyan airwaves in 2016

"Coke Studio has seen me grow and really helped improve me as a musician. My most memorable moment from the show was performing the song "Reason" with Ne-Yo. Meeting him and interacting with him was great. I learnt a lot from him and the rest of the African superstars that were involved," she said.

Apart from being on Coke Studio Africa, Wangechi has released hit after hit this year. Her maiden solo video was "Cardiac Arrest", a jam that was inspired by the grisly road accident she had last year.

"My immediate major plan after Coke (Studio) is already in the works. Already hitting the studio daily, working on my debut album that I will release next year," she added.

The coke studio finale mash-up 'Reason', produced by Ne-Yo and featuring Ice Prince, Dama Do Bling, Alikiba and Maurice Kirya has already gotten more than 250k views on YouTube.
