Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji ordered Jacque Maribe and Jowie to be charged with the murder of Monicah Kimani.

I have reviewed the evidence so far on record and I am satisfied that there exists a case to warrant criminal prosecution against them

On Friday, Jacque's lawyer, Katwa Kigen said Jacque is fit to stand trial. The lawyer told journalists that the anchor underwent a mental assessment at Mathari Hospital on Thursday.

Kigen said he will apply for bail when the TV anchor is charged today.

The judge said that the case on bail will be heard on October 17 in another court. This means that Jacque Maribe will still be incacerated at Langata Women's Prison and Jowie at Industrial area.

Jacque's friends, her usual gang, that includes Monica Kiragu, Terryanne Chebet, Kirigio Ngarua and Shix Kapienga, were spotted outside the court hugging her.

Just as the case was ongoing, we also spotted Kambua, a gospel artiste and a host for Citizen show, Kubamba. Seated next to her was Muthoni wa Mukiri who is also a radio presenter at Inooro FM.

This is what I would call true friendship.

Here is an image of Kambua and Muthoni looking concerned in court:
