Word on the street is that the comic, who used to host a morning show on the radio station dubbed Maisha Asubuhi, was offered a deal he that couldn’t turn down by Hot 96.

Although the exact figure is still not known, reports indicate that the Standard Group could not counter the offer that he was given by their competitors – Royal Media Services.

As such, Jalang’o was left with no option but to move to Hot 96 where he will  be hosting a show alongside Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalist Jeff Koinange.

His departure from Radio Maisha simply means that Alex will have to find a new co-host or fly solo. As such, its understandable why he’s not so happy about Jalango’s move.

In an Instagram post, Alex said it took him a week to come to terms with the fact that he and Jalang’o will not be

However, he wished Jalang’o success in his future endeavours and asked God to guide him in the path that he has chosen.
