Radio Africa presenters react to getting tested for COVID-19

Today all the staff members of Radio Africa Group who have been working from the Lion Place office got voluntary testing for COVID-19.

Caroline Mutoko who has taken the text three times told Mpasho,

"This will be my third test. I have been tested twice before. This will be my most significant one because I have had contact. It is uncomfortable but it is the smartest thing you can do. You need to know."

Adding,

"I'm not nervous. I think I have been careful but if I am positive I know what to do."

Smooth FM presenter Patrick Mwangola revealed that he was "a tiny bit scared but you have to do it. It is my first time it is not that bad."

Kiss FM's Linda Nyangweso said that as a nation we need to "start normalising getting tested".

East FM breakfast presenter AlyKhan Sorathia said, "If you can, get tested for your  piece of mind."

The host of Maloko show, Chito Ndhlovu said, "I'm safe and people should get tested. I'm not nervous actually kama niko nayo, niko nayo but I don't have it."

Advising his fans to "Keep safe."

Kiss FM's Nick Ndeda described his testing session as  "very fast" adding "now we just wait for the results."
