I was not yet born when Kenya was still a British colony, but history books have taught me better. I have a faint picture of how it used to be. The same books have also tried to enlighten me on how things used to be under the Apartheid system in South Africa.
History tells us that during those times, black people in many African countries (colonies to different western countries) faced difficult times. They were discriminated against, tortured and killed, based on the colour of their skin.
