Former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru is currently admitted at the intensive care unit of a Nairobi hospital.

The bishop is in hospital after being diagnosed with Covid-19.

She had hosted 18 people at her Runda home for a spiritual meeting before she fell ill. 8 of those 18 people have tested positive.

The current MP of Starehe Charles Njagua a.k.a Jaguar wished Bishop Wanjiru a wiick recovery.

Taking to Twitter, Jaguar wrote,

“Today, I join the people of Starehe in wishing Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, our former MP, a quick and full recovery. Let us also remember all the other Covid-19 patients in Starehe, Kenya, and beyond. You are in our thoughts. God will grant us victory over this invisible enemy.”

The senate leader of majority, Samuel Poghisio also tweeted,

“I want to take this opportunity to wish former Starehe MP & Founder Jesus is Alive Ministry Bishop Margaret Wanjiru quick recovery after being diagnosed with COVID-19. We shall overcome.”
