Proud Daddy! DP Ruto's daughter joins prestigious law school

Deputy President William Ruto is a proud father after his daughter Stephanie Jepchumba got  admitted at the prestigious Kenya School of Law.

She is among a list of the students admitted to undertake the Advocates Training Program in the 2020/21 academic year.

The list published on the school's website on Monday, December 16, confirmed the good news for DP Ruto's family.

Stephanie graduated with a degree in law at Strathmore University on June 28, 2019, with her proud father one of the thousands of parents who graced the colourful ceremony.

Her dad who was obviously thrilled praised her for her sacrifice and hard work as it had made her triumph.

"Congratulations to Stephanie Ruto on your graduation from Strathmore University with a degree in Law. Your dedication, hard work, self-sacrifice, and God's grace has triumphed.

As you join your peers in the legal profession, may you stand with the tenets of justice, fidelity, and impartiality," the deputy president wrote in a heartfelt message to her.' Ruto penned.

All lawyers in Kenya must earn a diploma from the Kenya School of Law, the country’s only Bar School since its founding in 1963, before being admitted to The Bar as advocates of the High Court.
