DNA left his record label last year after his contract expired and neither side was willing to renew the contract. Since then, not a peep has been heard from one of the most prolific hitmakers in the Kenyan entertainment scene.

It is worth noting that rumours were swirling round alleging that the hitmaker split from the record label over financial disagreements with Refigah, the label's CEO but there seems to be no substance to those rumours if the weekend's signing was anything to go by.
