Controversial private detective Jane Mugo has penned a moving tribute to Keroche heiress Tecra Muigai titled, 'Candle In The Wind'.

In the tribute, she recalled a conversation she had with Tecra during Keroche CEO Tabitha Karanja's birthday.

"I remember when you asked me during your mothers birthday party: Detective how do you survive in this male-dominated job? (I responded, women of steel will always wake up strong no matter what is thrown their way)."

Jane added, "I advised you to remain focused, courageous, prayerful, strong and aggressive. What men can do women can do better."

Jane's tribute read,

"The day God called you home my sister, a long time friend. A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul has ascended to Heaven.

It only feels like yesterday when we had our last conversation. I'm speechless."

She added,

"My heartfelt condolences to the family of Joseph Karanja and CEO Tabitha Karanja, friends, and Keroche Breweries fraternity for the untimely demise of Tecra Karanja. It is also a great blow to Kenya's manufacturing industry.

Jane described the late Tecra as a "beautiful, intelligent, hardworking, and a go-getter young woman - a personality that saw her rise through the ranks to be the Director Strategy and Innovative at Keroche Breweries."

Jane continued with her tribute,

"I extend my deepest sympathies to your mother who has in the recent past had a tough time, (for reasons well known to everyone). It is my hope and prayer that the government considers settling the KRA matter out of court.

The private detective noted,

"You leave behind a mark in the hearts of many. I'm honoured and blessed to have known you. Your life was truly a blessing to me. I will forever miss You. Rest in Eternal Peace dear."
