Our President is in Japan attending the Third United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction. The meeting seeks to forge a way forward towards urban planning and ecosystem preservation to reduce environmental disasters. He’s met World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, Toyota Tsusho Corporation management and Kenyans living in the Asian country.

“Today I met with Kenyans living in Japan. Diaspora is an important partner in harnessing Foreign Direct Investment which is key to growing our economy. We will build database of qualified Kenyans in diaspora to draw on their expertise back home as we continue to grow our country.”
