JKIA staff were thrilled when a plane carrying what they thought was President Barack Obama's motorcade landed in the country ahead of his visit that is scheduled for this month.

President Obama travels in a limousine, known as 'The Beast' or Cadillac One which has eight-inch thick armor-plated doors and also has its own personal oxygen supply. Each of president Obama's limousine is assumed to cost around Ksh 150 million. (Read more about Obama's security below)

The vehicles that landed at JKIA are apparently on transit to South Africa, and they do belong to President Obama, as the plane carrying his motorcade is expected in the country next week.
