'Pray for life...' premonition post by DJ Star Boy days before road accident

Less than a month before his death, DJ Star Boy - real name Kennedy Munene - made a very curious observation about life.

One can even say, it was a premonition.

25 days before he breathed his last, DJ Star Boy pondered on the importance of life with regard to hustling for a big pay day.

The spinmaster lost his life rushing to deliver a consignment of miraa in Igembe area.

He never reached the final destination. DJ Starboy died on Sunday, February 20 in a tragic road accident.

Starboy was driving a Toyota Hilux, KCQ727A on the Maua-Meru route, and was in a jovial mood before the journey commenced.

A video taken of his many errands transporting what is known as green gold has since gone viral.

One of his last posts, the DJ wrote,

"The cemetery is full of unfinished dreams."

Adding,

"Pray for life and not just the money."

May he rest in peace. Starboy has gone too soo and the young soul will be buried with some of his unfulfilled dreams.

In a recent post he mused,

"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; . . . who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly."
