The story of Kiambu killings is still a shock to many. From radio stations to social media, the murder of five people among them four family members and a farmhand has been a topic of discussion for the past few days.

22-year-old Lawrence Warunge confessed to killing his father, mother, brother, cousin and helper at their Kiambaa home in Kiambu county.

Well, popular city pastor reverend Kathy Kiuna of JCC has advised mothers to raise their sons well, and instill good values in them.

'Every mother must remember this. You are either raising someone’s blessing in your son or someone’s tears. Speak to your son and ensure the woman that gets him will be composing songs for her mother in law and dancing for joy,' she posted.

Her message is spot on and comes at a time when parents especially mothers are being blamed for their kids' mistakes.
