Last week the 266th and current Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis was in the country, and everyone from top leaders to the common mwananchi was very excited about the Papal visit.

Many wished to shake hands with the Pontiff but unfortunately, not most were as lucky as Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko was granted the chance to.

The flamboyant senator shook hands with Pope before he jetted out of the country to Uganda. This was Pope Francis first time to visit Africa. He visited three countries among them Kenya, Uganda and The Central African Republic.
